A: The deadline indicates the date your application, transcripts and payment must be received in the PharmCAS office. Check the individual School Pages and at-a-glance tables to learn the deadlines of the colleges and schools to which you plan to apply. Whenever a deadline falls on a weekend or Federal Holiday, the next business day is automatically the deadline. You must submit your application by 11:59pm Eastern Time of the observed deadline date. This is NOT the deadline by which your application file must arrive at your designated schools.
A: The PharmCAS web application will not allow you to apply to a school once its application deadline has passed. PharmCAS does not offer deadline extensions to applicants. Only the pharmacy schools can grant a deadline extension. Contact the individual pharmacy school directly to request a deadline extension. If your request is approved, the school will notify PharmCAS to process your application.
A: Yes. PharmCAS will still accept official transcripts and fees that arrive after the deadline date, however your selected pharmacy schools may not review your application file if your transcripts and/or fee are received late. You are strongly encouraged to submit all of your application materials to PharmCAS by the earliest deadline date set by your designated pharmacy schools. PharmCAS will not issue refunds for missed deadlines. PharmCAS is not responsible for any materials lost in the mail or for delays caused by the Registrar's Office. Express or certified mail does not guarantee expedient processing, nor does sending transcripts express or certified guarantee receipt by PharmCAS.
