Q: Where do I obtain the supplemental application and what is the fee?
A: In addition to your PharmCAS application, many of the pharmacy degree programs may require you to send a supplemental application and fee directly to the degree program itself. You will need to contact the pharmacy degree program directly for information about the supplemental application and their requirements. You may also review the for information about the supplemental requirements of each degree program.
Q: How can I check the status of the supplemental materials that I mailed directly to each pharmacy degree program?
A: In addition to the PharmCAS application, degree programs may require you to send a supplemental application, fee, letters of recommendation, and/or other materials directly to the degree programs itself. To review the status of your supplemental materials for each of your designated pharmacy degree programs, login to your PharmCAS application and click on Supplemental Materials under “STATUS” on the right side of the screen. Allow approximately 2–3 weeks for degree programs to receive your materials. Some degree programs may not begin to report supplemental status information until the degree program deadline date passes. Not all PharmCAS degree programs use the Supplemental Status Tool. Contact the pharmacy degree programs directly if you have questions about the status of your supplemental materials. Do NOT contact PharmCAS with questions about your supplemental materials.
Q: Are the supplemental deadline and the PharmCAS deadline the same date?
A: The supplemental application deadline may be the same as the PharmCAS deadline, or later. You will need to check the School Directory or contact the degree program directly for more information. PharmCAS is not responsible for ANY supplemental materials.
Q: Can I use the same essay from my PharmCAS application on the supplemental application?
A: You will need to contact the degree program directly to see if that is a possibility.
